I am sure there are many out there that have arrived in the situation of having received the package that is the start of the road to ASCP registration.

I am intrested in finding my own sources for this tissue, if you can help me by pointing me in the right direction I would be thankful. I am in Burlington in Vermont.

So I need tissue, I also read that

 "all technical procedures performed in the preparation of the enclosed paraffin blocks and stained slides where preformed by me"

Reading this can I ask with good conscience for people to send me, tissue, that is already fixed in any fixative. 

I will be obviously very happy to pay for all shipping costs etc. I will also be sending out Christmas cards to those people who are able to help me out, but if you can not help me out, send me an email and I will send you  a Christmas card anyway.

Once you have answered this question, I would like to ask for the following tissue ( If it is ok)

I ask because I work in a Privately owned Dermatopathology laboratory and have no direct access to tissue.

My shopping list includes:

Liver                           1.0x1.0cm square

Lung                           1.0x1.0cm square

Skin                             1.0cm in Length

Kidney (including cortex and medulla)

Tonsil                         1.0cm in Length

Uterus                        1.5 x 1.5cm (square)

Small Intestine          2.0cm in length

 

Thank you for any help I will pass on any extra tissue to other needy Histologists out there who are doing the same exam (assuming that it is fare as pertaining to the regulations of the test).
