It depends on what you are looking for.  If you are interested in multiple organs the most consistent way of processing is trimming the embryo into three mid-siggital sections for gestational days 15-18.  Two on either side of the umbilicus and the umbilicus section.  I have processed a lot of embryos and found this is the most consistent reproducible processing method.  I would also agree that you need more time in the xylene, we use 3 stations for 45 min each.
