[Histonet] Xilol and xilol substitute

Can you give me some advise about use xilol substitute in the tissue prossessing and after, xilol in the staining? I have this question because in this laboratory we use only xilol substitute (terpene based), and someone ask me about the possibility of prossessing and cut the tissue in this laboratory, and the staining would be make in another laboratory...
