I can't comment on the situation in the US but this does seem to be a world
wide problem. It is certainly a major issue here in the UKand I beleive a
problem in Australia and New Zealand.
The thing I find strange is that we all have the same problem BUT don't
accept each others qualifications, so histotechs find it difficult, or
impossible to move between countries. At one time when I was younger single
and free after spending a little while in the Middle East I thought about
doing the globe trotting thing but chickened out due to the situation with
qualifications being or not being recognised.
