Hi Ruth,
Have you tried Marmed they have a bone saw that uses a diamond impregnated
blade which does not cut soft tissue and has a femoral head holder etc.They
are an American company and have a website at
http://www.mar-med.com/saw.html  There is a water basin at the bottom and is
fully shielded with attachments and is very easy to use and set up.It is
easy to clean and disinfect..My own Lab purchased one as our Health and
Safety department in the Hospital would not let us use the wood band saw
with the metal blade we had.
