RE: (AMRCR)/P504S

From:"Dresser, Karen"

Our lab is working on p504 now. Yes, it is VERY specific
for prostate adenocarcinoma. There is a polyclonal and
a monoclonal version. In our hands, the monoclonal seems
superior to the polyclonal in both specificity and lower
background staining.

Has anyone out there used this antibody? It is supposed to be very specific
for prostatic adenocarcinoma. My pathologist received a flyer on it from the
marketing company (ZETA CORP), and wants me to try it. I would like to find
out more about it before ordering it, since we have never done
immunostaining here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
