There will be a technical supervisor position open at Central Dupage Hospital in Winfield, Ill.early November. The position will consist of 50% bench, 50% management, reporting to Associate Director of Lab and or Pathologists.
The hospital has a workload of approximately 21,000 cases/year. There are 2 processing runs per day. the second run consists of biopsies and small skins. We have tried to keep the number of cassettes to 40 on the short run.
There are 2 full time Histotech, one is training, and 2 Support Tech for the gross room. Special stains and immunos are performed in the lab.
