Does anyone know if TRAP staining, Alk Phos staining, or LacZ staining
(with Xgal) can be done on methylmethacrylate embedded (JB4 kit) calcified
bone tissue? If so, how did you fix and process the tissue? Thanks

The JB4 kit from Polysciences is not methylmethacrylate (MMA), but glycol
methacrylate (GMA) I know enzyme staining can be done with GMA but not
sure about the ones you are asking for.
I know that TRAP has been used by Sandy Marks Jr (this is in the
literature) using GMA plastic.
