Hi Marilyn,
I have a Medite coverslipper and use glass coverslips and it is brilliant. 
It is marketed in the USA by Hacker. It is made in Japan by Meisei and 
marketed in Europe by Medite. It must be cleaned and always put the needle 
back in the little bottle of xylene, then no problems. I dont like tape as 
it is too difficult to remove and I do gynae cytology so I use DPX.
