Try using straight bleach. Rinse the jars in running water and rinse twice
with D/W.

After many, many years of not having to mess with cleaning my own
glassware,
it looks like I'm back in the business. Seems like I remember using a 2%
(?)
nitric acid solution. Does this seem reasonable? Any and all suggestions
would be appreciated.
