I don't know how well this will work for you, but I use a 1% HCL solution.

After many, many years of not having to mess with cleaning my own glassware,
it looks like I'm back in the business.  Seems like I remember using a 2%(?)
nitric acid solution.  Does this seem reasonable?  Any and all suggestions
would be appreciated.
