Connexin immunohistochemistry
One of our graduate students wants to immunostain
for connexin 43 in paraffin sections of rats' hearts.
No luck so far, using a rabbit primary and a
Texas red-labelled goat anti(rabbit) secondary.
Does anyone know if these gap junction proteins
can be immunostained after paraffin embedding?
(Most of the gapjunctologists round here study
cultured cells.)
