If you decalcify the bone marrows then you must decalcify the control
tissue too.
If you use trephine bone marrow biopsies then take trephine biopsies
of the control tissue and decalcify them for the same length of time.

I can't think of any other cause of false negatives when the control
works.  Perhaps others can talk of problems and solutions within
their experience.
