Re: IHC 101

There is a brand new book out, "Diagnostic Immunohistochemistry" by David J. Dabbs, M.D. that may prove useful to you (depending on your situation - clinical vs. research lab). In addition, DAKO Corporation has an excellent handbook on immunohistochemistry that I use for teaching new students.

Hello Histonetters,
It's also time for me to enter the big world of IHC. Any recommendations on
books for beginners - basically "IHC 101"? I need to read before I can even
ask the questions?!!! I don't currently have the capabilities of performing
IHC in my lab, but I would like to have that foundation of knowledge to
build upon when the time comes.
Thanks in advance,
Sharon
