EDTA decalcification with heat (can go up to 60C according to Brain's book,
but only if the bone is totally fixed).  This was known before microwave
methods came into being, and probably helps improve speed, be sure you
suspend the bone in the solution so decalcifier totally surrounds the jaw.
You should test the bone for endpoint, not so easy with EDTA, but possible.
