The ASCP is taking the EM questions off the HT and HTL tests due to lack of
need. I don't think any questions about PCR have ever been on the test.

I have a question about the HT registry test.  I know someone who has taken
it two or three times and could never pass the written part.  That person
told me that now the test had questions about electron microscopy and PCR.
Is this true?  I don't know of any regular histology lab people that do
these things routinely, (at least in the Nebraska area).  If this is true,
how are we supposed to study or learn when we don't have those things
available to our labs.
