Karen- I've used Histoclear and most of the other limonene agents for years
on IHC and never had any problems either with staining or with fading.
Netters- Please tell me what is the best, hottest, fastest forceps warmer on
the market today. I miss my bunsen burner. One of my techs brought in an
alcohol lamp and I said she could use it for tough biopsies whereupon she
sneeezed one Saturday afternoon when she was alone, tipped it over and
torched the front of the embedding center. No flames now.
Luckily I don't embed often anymore but I'd like to help them with a better
unit.
