H&E stains in resin embedded bone

From:LINDA MARGRAF MD

Here's a message I am posting for Rachel while she works out the enclosure issue in her email system.
She is on the list so you can reply to the list (just don't send the messages back only to me thanks, Linda M)

'Hi Everyone,

I have been having a lot of trouble getting clean Haematoxylin and Eosin
stains on my resin embedded undecalcified rat femur sections. It seems as
if the Heamatoxylin is forming some sort of precipitate on top of the
calcified bone and it doesn't allow visualisation of the cellular structure.

Does anyone have a working H&E stain for bone in resin? Any ideas would be
much appreciated.

Thank you very much
