Josie,
I use the BioGenex Optimax stainer. I am able to use any Ab or reagent I want from any company. For p53, I use Dako monoclonal mouse, Clone DO-7. This is specific for human tissue. I use it with the Dako Envision+ mouse kit and do a citrate antigen retrivial. The dilution I use for the antibody is 1:100.
