D.P.X. is polystyrene dissolved in xylene (with a trace of tert-butyl
phthalate). It is carried by Aldrich.
D.P.X. (or "depex") is the medium in which stains are least likely to fade.
It does not flow onto the slide as well as Fisher's "Permount" or Harleco
Synthetic Resin ("HSR").
