The TPC solvent can be used until it is "dirty". When it has debris floating
in it the TPC should be discarded and fresh TPC dispensed into the can.

The lid is usually very tight and there is a seal beneath the lid as well.
We will be absolutely sure that the lid on the TPC can we ship to you will
be as tightly closed as possible.
