NOV. 14 NSH TELECONFERENCE

From:Lee & Peggy Wenk

Hi -

Just a reminder -

There is still time to sign up for the NSH teleconference
on "Violence in the Workplace", to be given on Wed.
Nov. 14, 2001, from 1-2 pm Eastern Time (please
adjust for time zones).

(Please note: I will be "selling" education here, so if
you don't like the topic or the selling, please hit the
Delete button now.)

This was a topic that was touted as very much needed
by histonetters last year, so we found Jan Mahoney in
Omaha, Nebraska willing to take her 3 hour NSH workshop
and condense it down into a 1 hour teleconference.

She will be talking about peer to peer violence, violence
from visitors, and, a little on violence from terrorism.

The cost of the teleconference is $90. Your place of
work must sign up before Oct. 31, 2001, to be
ensured of receiving the handout material on time.
However, payment by PO, etc. can take place
after the teleconference.

You can have as many people attend this teleconference -
histotechs, med techs, cytotechs, doctors, secretaries,
residents, lab assistants, etc. This is a topic of interest
AND importance to many people in the labs. And all for
$90! And each participant earns 1 hour of continuing education
from NSH.

Contact NSH at 301-262-6221 for more information. Or
to register on-line, go to http://www.nsh.org/education
Then click on Teleconferences. It lists the NSH teleconferences
for the rest of 2001 and all of 2002. At the bottom of that
page is a link to the application page.

Hope you can participate.

Peggy A. Wenk, HTL(ASCP)SLS
NSH Teleconference Coordinator
