cryostat vacuum

From:Vinnie Della Speranza <dellav@musc.edu>

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who routinely uses a vacuum to clean debris from their cryostat.
I am not familiar with devices that may be available for this purpose and would entertain recommendations if you have a product that you like.

I am interested in learning how you avoid making potentially infectious particles, like TB or viruses, airborne. does the vacuum have a HEPA filter on it?

also, I imagine that the vacuum becomes contaminated and requires decontamination with a suitable disinfecting solution.

thank you for your feedback.
