The simple very unscientific way is to add a few drops of water to a few mls
of xylene in a clear glass container. If it turns milky - it is not good.
Your instrument manufacturer should do gas chromatography if you request. j

We are recycling Xylene. Is there an easy way to test for purity.
Thanks in advance.
