RE: Immunohistochemistry - Bone Morphogenic Proteins
From: | Patsy.Ruegg@UCHSC.edu |
I do staining with all the BMP's on formic acid decalcified bone and soft
tissue including tumor, paraffin processed, zinc formalin fixed. I get all
my antibodies from Santa Cruz, they are Goat antibodies and I use them on
rat tissue. No HIER, just a 5 min. digestion with proteanase k, they work
splendidly.

Subject: Immunohistochemistry - Bone Morphogenic
Proteins
Hi,
Is there anybody out there doing immunohistochemistry
(IHC) on
either frozen or formalin fixed tissue for Bone Morphogenic
Protein
3,4 or 5? I am desperate for any information on every aspect
eg.
where to get the antibodies, what methods work best,
fixation etc.
My name is Lesley York and I work in the Anatomical Sciences
dept. at the University of the Witwatersrand in
Johannesburg. Many
thanks - it's great to have this facility.
