Protein called "Maspin".

From:"Awbrey, Donald" <DonaldAwbrey@texashealth.org>

Dear Histonetters:

I have obtained information about a newly discovered protein called
"Maspin". Italian scientists have discovered this protein and it could
be invaluable for breast cancer cases as well as possibly other cancer
cases.

These scientists have found a correlation between the amount
of Maspin to the probability of reoccurrence in breast cancer cases.
They have found that this marker was better at predicting breast
cancer relapses than axillary lymph node involvement.

This sounds like a very invaluable breast cancer marker for patients
who need proper treatment.

Does anyone or any company out there have this marker available?
If so, is it available for immunohistochemistry, ISH, and/or FISH.

Please let me know of any available information out there in the
"Netter Land" about this promising marker called Maspin.
