AFP wasn't doing it for us either so we tried the new Hepatic
Specific Antigen marker from 
Novacastra- it's a monoclonal NCL-HSA  clone OCH1E5  we dilute 1:50 ,no
pretreatment and incubate 30 minutes with Dako's envision + kit. good
results even on archival tissue. Stains the 
majority of hepatocellular ca's including fibrolamellar.
