for years.

We are currently looking for a supervisor (Technologist III position) in our
lab. We have not had a tech III for a number of years, and now the need has
become apparent. The posting reads.....

Title: Technical Supervisor - Lab TEchnologist III - Lab Services

Duties:
Reporting to the Manager responsible for Anatomic Pathology, you will
provide technical leadership in planning, organizing, and managing quality
resources and supervise a team of technologists, cytotechnologists,
laboratory assistants and an autopsy assistant. Proven interpersonal and
leadership skills are essential, including financial/conflict management and
strategic planning.

Graduate of a recognized school of medical technology (BSC or ART preferred)
with 5 years experience in a large pathology laboratory and 2-3 years in a
supervisor/leadership role required. Computer training in Microsoft
applications and eligibility for regristration with the ASMLT also required.
