Hi Alan,

In Outlook 2000 you can mark individuals in the address book for "plain
text only". First, bring up the address book ("tools", "address book"),
find the name and click on "properties". Click on the "name" tab and at the
bottom on the window you'll see a check box that says "send e-mail using
plain text only". You can also format a message on the fly by selecting
"format" and then "plain text".

Thanks,

John McGinley
