Dear Vicki,  We have a biogenex stainer,  it is an older one and does not
have dewax on it.  we have no problem with it, perhaps it is not level,
that may  cause the problem you are having.  We have had ours now for maybe
3 years and have not had any problems. Good Luck,  I would call the company
also and talk to them,  they are usually pretty nice and helpful.Good Luck,
