I have been using histochoice for the last 3 years, I don't do a lot of
samples but I found it vastly better than formalin fixation, especially
when doing antigen retrieval, and the morphology (on mouse tissues) has
been excellent. It seem to be important not to leave the tissue in the
fixative for very long. For example mouse skin sections less than 6mm
across are in the fixative for no longer than 4 hours. I have also found
Histochoice is also good for in situ hybridisation. Unfortunately I don't
know what the ingredients are.
Michelle.
