What will you be looking for in intestines? I work with Dr. Sandra Gendler
and her muc-1 group and have a couple of  protocols for fixation for nice
sections depending on what we are looking for (tumors, mucin) we actually
embed for cross and sagittal in the same block and it turns our really nice,
we also do whole intestines in a "snake" so we know where we are in the GI
track. If you are looking at mucin a methacarn fix is best.   Write me and
give me a few more details so I have a better idea of what your personal
needs are. anita
