My question yesterday regarding DAB was just to gauge reaction as
to old
DAB kits. I hadn't noticed, but my kit expired last April and until
recently had worked fine. Yesterday I popped through some sections in the
normal way and checked the DAB reaction with a microscope. Beautiful
result, clean as a whistle and good and black (nickel enhanced). After
counterstaining and DCM the reaction product had gone, vanished like 'snaw
aff a dyke'. From comments received I think I will just buy fresh and pay
more attention to expiry dates.
