There have been several responses with ideas which say "but it keeps
the section on the slide"

Well, its the weekend and I'm feeling flippant, so here is the poem
that "but it keeps the section on the slide" reminds me of:

I eat my peas with honey,
I've done it all my life
It makes the peas taste funny
BUT IT KEEPS THEM ON MY KNIFE!
