Hi Carol,
Saw your message on the Histonet. I believe you might be interested in the
Instrumedics Tape-Transfer system. There is one version(CryoJane ) for the
cryostat for frozen sections and another for paraffin sections. (PSA).

This technology captures the section on a tape window as it is cut and then
transfers the section to an adhesive -coated slide. After polymerization
which takes about 30sec.
You remove the tape and the section is bonded to slide and ready for
staining. You eliminate the water bath and the drying steps!

After removal of the tape the slide is immediately ready to be
deparaffinized   and stained!
