eosin staining problem

Could you elaborate more, please, on exactly how do your staining, from
deparaffinizing etc.

A workshop from Jerry Fredenburgh taught us some good H&E staining
hints.  After the bluing step, be sure to rinse adequately not just
to remove the bluing agent but adjust the pH (less alkaline) of t tissue
section
in preparation for the eosin step.  1 minute or longer with running
tap water, then he suggested an alcohol (60- 70%) BEFORE going into
the eosin.  I noticed our eosin staining was better after these
two suggestions.  Careful to deparaffinize adequately and make sure there
is not tons of paraffin carryover in the first alcohols also.
