I agree with carrie Kyle-byrne  - I too use the glucose/glucose oxidase
method of endogenous peroxidase on my frozen sections of rodent (murine
and rat) tissues with great success and no disruption of morphology.  On
my paraffin sections I use a peroxidase block from
Kirkegaard & Perry with is a periodate based solution for their
recommended time of 4 minutes.
Both of these eproxidase blockers give good results with no disruption
of morphology.
