The Zeiss/Microm 505 EVP has a vacutome system that aids in pulling the
section flat and the suction continues to pull the section away into either a
stainless steel mesh container which can be disinfected by autoclave, or
simply a disposable bag that can be placed in a biohazard container.

In addition to the vacutome system the Cyrostar 560 adds an actual
disinfection unit that first saturates the pathogen with the desired
disinfecting agent, then uses heat to burn off any remaining pathogens.

I believe this is much safer than using open containers of formaldehyde and
ammonia.
