sorry...i don't have a reference.  this is just what i was told by the
supervisor.  i'll ask if she can find it the her cap material (we've an
inspection scheduled for 1.7.99) and let you know.
all i know first hand is that all the labs i've ever worked in have filed
them the same way....separate from the original case and by date of stain.
i always assumed it was a cap thing.....perhaps not.
