RE: [Histonet] moh's surgery

From:"Favara, Cynthia \(NIH/NIAID\)"

I know there are some areas of the country where the person doing the
frozen sectioning does not need to be a histotech and the person reading
the slide does not need to be a pathologist. I am fairly ignorant about
these regulations but imagine they are state controlled.

Do you have to be a histotech to work in a Moh's surgery center doing
frozen sections?
If not, what are the qualifications for the technical position? Thanks.
