We have used Vectors Avidin/biotin kits.  Now, however, with our 
Strepavidin- Biotin methods, we now use their Strepavidin/biotin blocking kit.

I have heard that DAKO's avidin/biotin blocking kit is stronger, more 
concentrated in order to block endogenous and unwanted biotins when using 
the CSA or tyramide amplification method (TSA) - certainly worth a try.
