RE: [Histonet] re: EXAKT system

Hi Caron,
We have recently started using the Exakt system. I would have to say
that it really depends on what you are grinding. As far as I can tell
there are no hard and fast protocols for papers and time. I know there
are more people on the Histonet with a heck of a lot more experience
than I do in this procedure and I am sure they will speak up. Also you
could try to contact Linda Durbin. She is the owner of Exakt
(1-800-866-7172).

Subject: [Histonet] re: EXAKT system

Hello:
I have just started a position where I am using the EXAKT cutting and
grinding system for bone sectioning. Does anyone have a protocal for
grinding which includes paper grades and rough times to get me started
as I do not have the time to spend "reinventing the wheel" as the
position has been vacant for some time and there are projects that must
get done soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Caron
