I'll leave the protocols to the histologists. Better make sure your pathologists and PA's 
are cutting there sections less than 3 mm thick across the full section. No pillows with
 3 mm thick edges and 4mm thick centers or your pathologists are going to be
 wondering where the middle of their sections went no matter what protocol you are using.
