Hello everyone,
CLIA visited our institution a few months ago.  Among their findings was the 
fact that our Cytology Procedure Manual did not indicate patient preparation 
for the collection of medical and gynecological specimens.  Does anyone else 
include this information in their manuals?
We are also thinking about automating the staining in the Cytology 
Department.  Currently, we share a Leica stainer with the Histology 
Department, but we only stain PAPS in the afternoon.  We are thinking about 
automating the medicals.  Does anyone have any suggestions or experience 
with this?  Thanks so very much for all of your help!
