Regulatory requirements for images
Dear All,
I am hoping someone can refer me to
additional information in regards to regulatory requirements for image
archiving. I've been searching the web and haven't found anything that
applies to Pathology, only to Radiology. It seems that some
Radiology departments are now using Picture Archiving and Communication
Systems (PACS), in case of destruction.
Are any of the pathologist's
assistants using cataloging software or have you setup a SOP for images in
reference to regulatory requirements. Any input would be
appreciated.
