RE: brain stains

I am not sure how the morphology will be but this might be worth a try.
Place the OCT encased specimen in NBF and process. May be adequate for what
the PI wants to see.

Fellow techs,
I have a PI who wants to look at Purkinje cells in mouse brains. I am use to
doing silver stains on ffpe tissue however she has some tissue frozen in OCT
via liquid nitrogen. Any suggestions other than having her harvest some
tissue for ffpe ?
Thanks,
Ron Martin
