Tossing a penny in the waterbath. . .
I'm wondering if anyone has heard that putting a clean penny in the bottom of your waterbath will attract air bubbles resulting in no bubbles under your ribbons. Someone at work did it, and the next day it seemed that everyone had a penny in their waterbath. I've heard it works because it's a copper coin, but I simply do not understand how this could work(although it seems that it does). I would be interested in hearing from anyone that has done this or anyone whom might be able to offer an explanation as to why it would work. Maybe they're just making a wish for no bubbles when they throw it in? I don't know.
