Re: cartilage knife

After 30 years and 100's of various knives for scraping paraffin blocks - I started using a stainless steel weighing spatula, A Fisherbrand "Scoopula" spatula. It's curved, with a smooth back that won't dig into your hand after scraping 100's of blocks - it's the best thing I ever used!!  They can be purchased from Fisher Scientific.  Try it!!

My supervisor is looking for a vendor who sells cartilage knives.  These
knives are about 7 inches long with a black or silver handle.  We use
them to scrape paraffin blocks after embedding.

Thanks for your help.
