Re: Whole mount embryo stain

From:Geoff McAuliffe

Under "Special Proceedures" in Humason's "Animal Tissue Techniques" there are several pages devoted to chick embryos, fixing, staining of whole mounts, etc. Perhaps someone on the list has practical experience.

We're looking for a technique (not ISH or IHC) that will allow for easier counting of somites (in chick), hopefully that is compatible with prior or subsequent ISH techniques. Does such a thing exist for whole embryos?
