Re: Slide markers

From:hymclab

We use an industrial marker purchased from our office supply vendor.
It is Sharpie "Industrial" Super Permanent Ink Extra Fine Point Marker
-Specifically formulated ink for industrial, laboratory, and commercial use.
-Rmains permenant uner most chemical washes, and extreme heat and steam.
Item Number 13801
The above info is directly from the pen itself.
We have used these for approximately 8 years on our cassettes and slides
with no problems whatsoever and I higly recommend them. The ink lasts along
time and we through away from the tip flattening out (dependent on how hard
everyone writes) before the ink dries. They are pretty cheap also. If you
cannot get them through your office suply vendor any store that carries
Sharpies will have them (although they will be cheaper through an office
supply vendor).

Greetings form NH,

What solvent resistant markers do you use to write accession numbers etc. on
your superfrost slides? We are currently using Securline Superfrost Markers
II which dry up very quickly. Just curious if anyone has found something
that lasts longer but still has a fine tip?
Thanks.
-Michele
